These are more than just wildlife photography trips. Each experience combines the opportunity to photograph wildlife with practical, hands-on photography tuition and guidance throughout the day.

Whether you’re new to wildlife photography or looking to improve your existing skills, I’ll help you get the most from your camera and the conditions on the day.

Tuition and guidance can include camera settings and exposure, shutter speed and aperture, autofocus and tracking moving subjects, choosing the right lens and focal length, composition, working with natural light, positioning for the best photographic opportunities, understanding animal behaviour and anticipating moments, photographing wildlife in different environments, and tips for getting sharper, more detailed images.

I’ll also help you find and identify wildlife throughout the experience, while explaining what to look for and how to anticipate behaviour.

Every experience is adapted to the location, wildlife and conditions on the day, so there is always an element of discovery.

The aim isn’t simply to go home with photographs. It’s to leave with a better understanding of how to create them.
