Nature, Golf, and Sustainability
"Helping golf clubs discover, document, and share the nature that makes their course unique."
A golf course is more than fairways and greens. It can be home to ancient trees, wildflower areas, wetlands, woodland, pollinators, birds, mammals and countless other species.
Documenting your Club's sustainability journey.
Using wildlife photography, I work with golf clubs to document, celebrate and communicate the biodiversity on their course, helping them build a richer picture of their sustainability journey.

Sustainability isn’t just about what a club plans to do. It’s also about understanding what is already happening on the ground.

Nathan works with clubs to build a photographic and observational record of their natural assets, including:
-
Wildlife and species found across the course
-
Trees, woodland and hedgerows
-
Wildflower and rough areas
-
Pollinator habitats
-
Ponds, wetlands and other water features
-
Nesting and roosting sites
-
Insects, birds and mammals
-
Seasonal changes across the course.
A living record of your course.
Through regular wildlife photography and observation, I capture the species, habitats, and seasonal changes that might otherwise go unnoticed - creating a visual record of the natural environment across the course. From a bee working its way through wildflowers to a bird nesting in an old tree, these moments can help members, visitors, and staff see the course from a different perspective.
The photography can also provide clubs with a valuable archive of their biodiversity over time, helping to demonstrate how habitats and wildlife are developing year after year.

A single photograph can capture a moment. A long-term relationship can tell a story.
By documenting wildlife throughout the year, Nathan can help clubs build a living visual record of their course and its biodiversity — showing what is there today and how it changes over time.
For clubs already working towards environmental accreditation or developing their sustainability strategy, this can provide another way to evidence and communicate the work taking place across the course.
Your course has a story. Let’s document it.
Whether you’re beginning to explore your club’s biodiversity or already have an established sustainability programme, Nath Does Nature can help you discover what is happening beyond the fairways — and share it with the people who use and care for the course.
Wildlife photography. Biodiversity. Storytelling. A different way to see your golf course.
